This laying nest was made of high quality plastic specifically for the needs of a chicken. It is very easy to clean due to its smooth plastic surface. With a few simple steps, the egg tray and perch can be removed so that they can be cleaned separately. Another advantage of this laying nest is that because it is made in one piece, there are no loopholes for parasites such as the red bird mite.
Ventilation of the laying nest is provided by the ventilation holes on the back. The laying nest can be closed if necessary by folding up the perch. The eggs roll gently into the egg collection container, which is protected from dirt by a cover. This ensures hygienic storage of the eggs and prevents chickens from eating them. This ensures that you always get clean and undamaged breakfast eggs.
All corners are rounded, so there is no risk of injury to the animals. Due to the modular design, there is always the possibility to adjust the number of nests to the number of chickens. One nest is sufficient for 4 - 5 chickens. The nests should be placed about 60 cm from the floor and the nest is attached to the wall with a few screws. A spacer at the back of the nest ensures that the ventilation holes are not closed.
