The monocrystalline solar panel 20 Watt offers you everything you need as a pet owner in this respect. It convinces not only in terms of safety - the sturdy frame made of plastic ensures long durability, even with intensive use.
The panels are light and handy compared to those made of glass with aluminum frame. The aluminum frame can bump and break the glass in case of shocks. Plastic is much better in rough agricultural use. The weight is kept as low as possible due to the lightweight design of the solar panel.

So that the battery can be charged as fully as possible even in poor or insufficient sunlight, a large panel should be chosen. A large battery also helps here, as this allows a longer runtime, even if the sun shines little.
The panels can be aligned at an angle to the sun. So in summer in Germany it is possible to work with 45 degrees. In winter and on the mountains, the angle to the sun can be steeper to increase efficiency (the sun is not so high in winter). The smooth surface set at the right angle, allows self-cleaning by rain / snow. Thus, the weatherproof solar panel 20 watts can be used all year round.

- This solar module is particularly light and unbreakable. The plastic frame with rounded corners and the solar cells made of plastic are extremely impact resistant.

- Tip The solar modules can also be combined with any other manufacturer's electric fence, provided that they are designed for this purpose. The cables of the solar modules without holder have a length of up to 1.8 meters, so that these are sufficiently long to establish the connection between the battery and the solar module. On the cables are crimped 6.3 mm flat plugs. Non-insulated crocodile clips are connected to these. Thus, the solar module can be clamped directly onto the battery, in order to simply attach the connection terminals of the electric fence device above it. Since battery devices often do not have an ON/OFF switch and are put out of operation by disconnecting them from the battery, the device can be easily removed from the battery while the solar module continues to charge the battery.
